Dad’s Indispensable Role

Time: 6 – 7:30 p.m.
Cost: TBD, please call
Whether living with the child or living apart, whether biological, step or foster father, a father’s role as a role model and guide for children is absolutely essential.
Tuesday
Preschool Storytime – Bird Songs
Location: Havenwoods State Forest
Time: 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Cost: Free
Come listen to the birds and find out what they might be "talking" about!
Wednesday
Saturday Morning Family Play Date
Location: Forest Home library
Time: 6 – 7 p.m.
Cost: Free
PRESENTED IN SPANISH – Families with children ages 5 and younger are invited to a fun-filled, hands-on, interactive hour of stories and play activities.
Thursday
Tails and Tales
Location: Wisconsin Humane Society
Time: 10:30 – 11 a.m.
Cost: Donation
Animal-related books with a humane theme will be read at each session and will be followed by activities and an opportunity to meet an animal from the Wisconsin Humane Society.
Friday
Hot Dog Day
Location: The Big Backyard
Time: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Cost: Regular admission
Join us for our last Friday evening of open play until October!
Saturday
Super Reader Kick-off Party
Location: Zablocki Library
Time: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Cost: Free
Create a Super Reader mask and emblem as we celebrate the start of Summer Reading.
Sunday
Bringing Baby Home
Location: Aurora Women’s Pavilion/Aurora West Allis Medical Center
Time: 3 – 7 p.m.
Cost: $30 per couple
Newborn characteristics and care, hands on demonstrations, preparing for the nursery and baby safety and more.
